August 4, 2010 It's been a while since my last post because I had a beautiful baby girl named Sarah Elizabeth Snipes. She came into this huge world on April 16th, 2010 at 7am sharp!
As you can see Sarah loves bathtime and getting her hair done by mommy!
Sarah enjoys watching TV on the couch so we are currently doing the "Your Baby Can Read" series and she LOVES it. As far as music goes I am really into the band from Dublin known as "The Script". We already play "Breakeven" on the Q but I also like the song "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" you can listen to it by clicking HERE Another tune I'm really into (thanks to the Jerr-ster) is by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros...it's called "Home" Click HERE to listen. On another note... I'm headed back to class for fall semester at Savannah State University where I am majoring in Marketing...(former English major at AASU). Classes begin August 12th and I couldn't be more excited after sitting out a semester to have my beautiful, bouncing baby girl!! I love my new major at Savannah State. While I do love English and will always have an appreciation for literature, Marketing seems to be "where it's at". Who doesn't need Marketing? NO ONE...that's right..everyone needs a little Marketing in their life! Until next time peeps.. And a message from Smarty Jones & Smokey Snipes (two rescue cats)
PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR ANIMALS!!!
March 14, 2010 Well, Saint Patrick's Day in Savannah has certainly arrived and with good weather I might add! Downtown Savannah is busting with green EVERYWHERE !!! Saint Paddy's Day falls on a Wednesday this year which means there's going to be an entire week (2 weekends) to partay so GET YOUR GREEN ON! Just remember to do it safely and don't drink and drive...there are plenty of services around the city that will give you a ride for free or next to nothing!
February 19, 2010 Here are a couple of my current favorite hits: John Mayers "Heartbreak Warfare" Check it out on myspace: Some say the song is a reflection of his relationship with Jennifer Aniston and he neither confirms or denies this in his interview in the February 2010 edition of Playboy Mag. Some think the interview is a little "over the top" but if you have actually read the interview, you know it's not. He is just being real. What's wrong with that? As far as his comments about Jessica Simpson, some would say they were "complimentary" not derogatory. In the same issue of Playboy Mag, you'll find a great article on the true founder of the Rolling Stones: Brian Jones. The article gives you a glimpse of who Brian really was and how talented he was. It is a sad article but one that any Rolling Stones fan should read. After reading it, my perception of the band has definitely changed but I still rank them number one in my favorite bands of all time. Another great song that is new to the music scene is by a band called The Script. The song is "Breakeven" and you can listen to it via myspace by clicking the link below: Lastly, here is a picture of my beloved "rescued from an alley" cat Smokey
Smokey asks everyone to remember to Please Spay and Neuter your animals! Until next time peeps. Peace. Angela
