Hey boys and girls,
I got a Basketball Jones...so much ball watching the past few weeks. Have you noticed in the tournament more commercials...on and on and on....give us a break.
I think Coach Cal got outcoached Saturday night. Where was Kentucky's full court pressure against West Virginia? But what do I know, I have exactly zero teams left in my Final Four..oh boy..
One thing I do know..Gus Johnson is the best play by play announcer in College basketball..pure excitement..He's great!!
Did you happen to see the NCAA promos during the games? One of the highlights...Georgia Southern's national championship..one of them anyway.
Kudo's to The Savnanah Morning News. Wonderful section on their 160th anniversary on Sunday. It made for some great reading. Hard to imagine the work that went into that.
Big week for Savannah and Tybee this week. The Last Song opens on Wednesday. Like all the other extras I'll be looking hard to see if I made the final cut.
No big surprise but the cigarette tax increase didn't get done again this year. This seems like such a no brainer..hopefully the Georgia legislature will make this a priority for next session.
Had a nice talk with Tybee Mayor Jason Beulterman about the lack of bathroom facilities at the beach. He recognizes the problem but it is a complex issue with many variables, but at least it is on the menu.
