Hello Everybody,
Doesn't it feel like we went straight from Winter to Summer and just skipped Spring? It sure felt and looked that way at Tybee this weekend..the beach was packed. And there were lot's of people in the water. Didn't see anybody I recognized...they weren't from around these parts. The water is still very COLD!!
It's great to be a Sports fan this week. NCAA title game tonight...how 'bout them 'Dawgs!! Oh, that's the Butler Bulldogs, not the Georgia Bulldogs. Baseball opening day..the Braves are gonna be good this year. I think they'll get the NL wildcard..division winners, Phillies, Cardinals and Rockies. In the AL division winners, Rays, Twins and Angels with the Yankees getting the wildcard. How about a Rays/Braves series with Tampa taking it.
And of course the Masters..and what's the over/under on how times at the press conference Tiger says.."that's personal" or "it's in the police report"....but if he's in contention this weekend it will break all Golf TV ratings records.
Back to the beach for a minute..people have got to stop using it as their personal ashtray. Butts all over the beach and not talking about the cute ones. You know there are some California beaches that have no smoking rules..can we do that here?
TV note...just started watching "The Good Wife" on CBS..well written and well acted.
Good reviews on Miley's "Last Song"...but the movie never mentions Tybee or Savannah by name...what up with that?
