Don't want to sound like a curmudgeon but in this economy do we really need ALL those Fireworks shows. I counted at least 7 in our area.
Bad week for Bulldog fans. People have asked me if it was just a DUI without the extra ciricular stuff would Damon Evans still have lost his job. I think so. When you make alcohol transgressions the focal discipline point of your program the face of the program can't do what Damon Evans did. Some people say he just made a mistake. Driving drunk is not a mistake, it's a choice.
Hey remember when Victory Drive and US 80 was the "longest Palm lined drive in the world"? That was then and this is now. Many of the palms remembering our war heroes are gone. That's a shame. And speaking of Highway 80, watch those turtles on your way to and from the beach. It's the season and they are crossing the road.
Joe Johnson...$120 million dollars. Is he worth that kind of money? The Hawks think so. He's fine in the regular season but not so much in the playoffs. Still no word on where LBJ is going? The Cavaliers need him more than anyone else that's for sure.
