Hi Everybody,
So here we are again....Everyone wants a debt deal EXCEPT the people we pay to get things done. Our Government in Washington, DC..is getting NOTHING done..so what else is new?
If these guys and gals had to work under the same set of rules as us this deal would have been done long ago. But with all the perks, benefits and special treatment they get they just don't care about us. And how about the Tea Party freshmen they need to read "The Art of the Deal".....there has to be some compromise..It can't be your way or the highway. But that's just what they're doing...at our expense.
Watching games on the Baseball package on Comcast the other night. Caught the White Sox with Savannah native Ken Harrelson doing the play by play as he's done for many years. Anyway Ken was talking about how he played football in High School. Two a days, salt tablets and on and on..But then he mentioned the High School he played for....a Military school in Savannah, Ga....Benedictine...BC. And he gave lot's of props to how tough HS football was in Savannah back in the day. The Hawk!!
Have you noticed how few Sand Dollars you see at the beach these days? That's because so many people took them home to bleach and use for Christmas ornaments. Sand Dollars are not ornaments they are living creatures who need to be left in the ocean. When you see people planning to take them home give them the heads up. I do that and most people get it and put them back. Sand Dollars are an endangered species....leave them be!!
