So today I came into work and found out that I made my first work mistake...well I knew it was bound to happen eventually. I accidentally sent some listeners an email that stated that their song would be played on a certain day and to make matters short some listeners tuned into a station and were quite disappointed to hear the wrong song! I apologize to all those that received the wrong date, your songs will be played soon. This weekend was interesting, I woke up Saturday morning, hopped into my car to meet some friends for breakfast, and found myself trapped behind barricades blocking cars forthe RocknRoll Marathon. It took me an entire hour just to get where I was going and another hour to return. I knew I should have payed more attention to traffic reports regarding that day. All that aside, it looked like a terrific event and I might just have to get my behind back in shape and participate next year. Sunday was perfect, I finally caught up on some much needed R&R and watched my new favorite show "Once Upon a Time" it was great as usual and left me only wanting to skip the week and go right to Sunday to see what happens next. The writers of that show are awesome, all my favorite childhood fairytales are being brought to life in a cohesive storyline, Genius and a wonderful show for anyone with an active imagination! Now that the week is in full swing I am overwhelmed, I have to begin packing for Arlington Virginia tonight for yet another conference. And get this, we depart at 2am for the 10 hour trek. After I heard that I almost backed out but it should be fun, after all, what could be more fun than sitting on a packed charter bus for ten hours through the night. I have a paper I have been struggling to finish and this might be exactly what I need, 10 hours on a bus with my nose buried in my laptop, while everyone surrounding me sleeps. Heaven forbid I sit next to the loudest snorer on the bus! I will have to get back with all the details! Until then, later! |
