2016 FIREWORKS SCHEDULE
HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
July 1st, 8:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
Hunter AAF will celebrate Independence Day on July 1st at the Family Day Field from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. There will be a performance by the 3rd ID Band and fireworks. Grills, pets, and glass bottles are prohibited.
STAR-SPANGLED CARS AND COFFEE
July 2nd, 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
The Richmond Hill History Museum will celebrate Independence Day on July 2nd with an antique car display. This display is a monthly event showcasing unique, rare, and antique cars. Title sponsor is J.C. Lewis Ford, with coffee provided by Espresso Hill. Car owners can bring in a car and interact with other automobile enthusiasts. Visitors can bring the family to view the cars and tour the Richmond Hill History Museum, formerly the Henry Ford Kindergarten. Admission to the event is free, and coffee can be purchased for 25 cents with a $1 donation to the museum. FORT MCALLLISTER FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
July 2nd, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Fort McAllister Historic State Park will celebrate Independence Day with living history programs including demonstrations of Civil War drills and rifle and cannon firings. Visitors can participate in old fashioned games including sack races, an egg toss, wheel barrow races, and a Civil War-era baseball game. Fresh watermelon will be availabe. CITY OF RICHMOND HILL CELEBRATES THE RED, WHITE, AND BLUE
July 2nd, 5 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Richmond Hill will kick off its annual Red, White, and Blue Independence Day Celebration at J. F. Gregory Park located at 521 Cedar St. This free, family-friendly event features live music from Cody James and Highway 55, an animal demonstration from Trapper Jack, arts and crafts vendors, inflatable water slides, farmers' market, face painting, family fishing, and will be topped off with a fireworks show. TYBEE ISLAND JULY 4TH FIREWORKS
July 4th, 9:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
In honor of America's birthday, the Tybee Island Annual Independence Day Fireworks are set to start around 9:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. The show will be on Tybee Pier and Pavillion, but will also be visible from Tybee's eastern beaches.
RIVER STREET FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
July 4th, 4 p.m.-10 p.m.
Come celebrate American patriotism at the River Street Fourth of July Celebration! Enjoy live music from 8-10 pm wth local favorites the Hynotocs on the WSAV Stage. Make sure to bring the kids to our kids zone while waiting on the fireworks display!
FT. STEWART INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
July 4th, 8:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
Ft. Stewart will be celebrating Independence Day on July 4th at Cottrell Field from 8:30 p.m.-11 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. There will be a performance by the 3rd ID Band and fireworks. Grills, pets, and glass bottles are prohibited.
HARBOUR FEST FIREWORKS AT SHELTER COVE HARBOUR (HILTON HEAD)
July 4th, 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
Shelter Cover Harbour presents HarbourFest, a family-friendly festival on the waterfront at Shelter Cove featuring live music by Shannon Tanner, Cappy the Clown, face painting, carnival games, treats from vendors, and fireworks to end the night in the most spectacular way! All of these fun activities are set amid great restaurants and shops. The event will last from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with Shannon Tanner taking the stage each night at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., before the fireworks shoot off at 9:30 p.m., weather permitting.
