Jan Spillane

Born and raised in Savannah, Spillane has spent much of her musical career developing what she calls, "The Key of Jan." She describes it as, "a blend of folk, jazzy/blues, soulful, country-influenced pop." Her next album, "Blue Canvas," will be released in late 2013 and is produced by Wassaw Sound Records.


Jared Wade

Born and raised in Pooler, Georgia, Wade formed J Rod and the Bootlong Pickers. Recently, they opened for Wade Bowen and Luke Bryan Farmtour. Now he's writing and recording his own material, and is pushing to release his first album out of Nashville the summer of 2013.


Junkyard Angel

Describing themselves as "a used, abused, honky-tonk-infused collection of musicians," Junkyard Angel is made up of brothers Stewart and Jim Marshall on vocals and guitar, Scotty Rahn on Lead Guitar and Vocals, Scott Tanner on bass, Joe Ippolito on drums, and occassionally Allan Hughes on Pedal Steel/Fiddle/Lap. If you ask them all, they count their home towns as Savannah and Charleston, and play most of their gigs between the two. Currently, they're working on finishing up an album that's been in the works since 2005, and are expecting to come out in 2013.


Les Racquet

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Les Racquet made the move to Savannah to record their most recent album Whale Hail, a retrospective of their first year on the road in 2012.


Listen 2 Three

Made up of Savannah natives Cam Brooks, Colin Motlagh, and Alex Mason became Listen 2 Three in 2006. They quickly developed a following, and by 2009 released their first album "Play it by Ear." Luke Mitchell

The twenty-two year-old native of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, has already made a lot of waves in his short career. After attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mitchell released three albums--most recently "The Sweetest Things," in 2012.


Nickel Bag of Funk

Describing themselves as "funk infused with mixes of R&B, Hip Hop, Rock and Soul," Nickel Bag of Funk got together in 2005. Made up of Savannah natives Javenn Edwards, Justin A. Moore, Jermaine Baker, Willie Anthony Jones, Corey Hutto, Andrew Maurice Hawk, they are lead by Leslie Adele. They have been voted Savannah’s Best R&B/Funk Band 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 by the Connect Savannah Reader’s Poll, and have opened for Nappy Roots and Dwele.
